Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Developer to produce scalable high throughput data processing software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Backend Developer, you should be comfortable around back-end coding languages, databases and cloud deployments with Kubernetes.

  • Design server-side architecture
  • Develop and manage high throughput databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs using standards like OpenAPI
  • Deploy, manage and monitor scalable applications on Kubernetes
  • Automated software testing to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data scientists to improve software


  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
  • Experience developing scalable backend applications
  • Familiarity with common stacks
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Node.js, Python, Go)
  • Experience with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), with high throughput processing and administration
  • Knowledge of cloud deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CICD pipelines like Jenkins
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
