Part-Time HR Admin [Remote]

Our headquarters are in Dublin, and we have remote teams spread across Austria, Portugal, Ukraine, Poland, and the UK. We’re a friendly bunch with a flat team structure. The company experienced unprecedented growth in 2021, and as a result, we are looking to expand our team with this key position.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an HR Administrator to run our human resources activities. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.

Your main administrative duties include recruitment administration and managing HR documents. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to Irish labour laws.

Administration

  • Arrange travel accommodations, process expense forms, and invoices
  • Follow up on organisation and administration of company training, team building, and workshop activities
  • Assist managers with preparing performance reviews, bonuses, and goal setting
  • Assist the finance department and management team with expenses and other ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Manage monthly subscriptions, invoices, and employee equipment purchases

HR

  • Answer employee’s queries about HR-related issues
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing movements and statutory/non-statutory leave as appropriate
  • Responsible for all aspects of administration concerning contract management, probation management, absence management and any other HR processes where necessary
  • Promote Snigel’s values and culture throughout the team
  • Create onboarding material to assist new hires in their first days/weeks of employment

Recruiting

Responsible for recruitment-related administration activities supporting the end to end recruitment process, including:

  • Monitoring of recruitment portal
  • Post vacancies on multiple platforms (website, social media, etc.), where relevant
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner forwarding any queries or applications where required and following up where necessary
  • Send a shortlist of applications to all members of the interview panel
  • Source and message high-quality prospective candidates on LinkedIn
  • Conduct reference checks for new hires as per the instructions of the recruitment lead

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or relevant field or proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Thorough knowledge of Irish labour laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
