Our headquarters are in Dublin, and we have remote teams across Austria, Portugal, Poland, Germany and the UK. We’re a friendly bunch with a flat team structure. The company experienced unprecedented growth in 2022. As a result, we are looking to expand our team with this key position.

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, experienced and creative Product Marketing Lead to join our team and help fuel our next stage of growth. They will be responsible for promoting Snigel’s solutions by creating and executing marketing strategies that drive sales and revenue.

This role relies heavily on excellent written communication skills and a strong technical understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends that can inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, including its features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Create messaging and positioning for the product, articulating its value proposition and differentiating it from competitors.
  • Develop marketing materials, such as product videos, whitepapers, case studies, and sales collateral, that effectively communicate the value of the product to potential customers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, engineering, and design, to ensure that the product meets customer needs and is positioned effectively in the market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that drive demand for the product.
  • Monitor the product’s performance and market feedback, and make recommendations for future improvements and updates.

Do you bring the following?

  • The ability to understand complex technical software products
  • Passion and the ability to inspire and convince people to work with Snigel
  • A genuine interest in the publisher/adtech space and a desire to help the customer become more successful
  • 5 – 10 years experience ideally within web publishing, ad tech or SAAS with a strong track record of achievement
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual. You can write quickly and concisely and are creative in ensuring you get your point across. You have a strong consultative selling approach, including the ability to listen to and absorb customer questions and problems
  • Strategic thinking: A product marketing person should be able to think strategically, identify trends, and develop innovative marketing strategies to promote the product.
  • Customer-centric mindset: Understanding the needs and preferences of the target audience is critical for creating effective marketing messages and positioning the product correctly.
  • Strong analytical skills: A product marketing person should be comfortable working with data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinking: A product marketing person should have a creative mindset and be able to think outside the box to develop unique marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborative nature: The ability to work well with cross-functional teams is essential for a product marketing person. They should be able to collaborate effectively with sales teams, product managers, and designers to ensure that the product is marketed effectively.
  • Results-driven: A product marketing person should be focused on achieving measurable results, such as increasing sales, market share, or customer engagement.
  • A third-level qualification from a reputable university (if not, strong experience that deems this irrelevant) is an advantage, but not required
